The pastor at the church where I attend had been contacted by this organization and presented the idea to the administration council. I think he was not clear on the proposal or the way he presented to us. This video clarified the concept for me and it sounds good. Next meeting I will have to bring up the subject again.

Mom (Aunt Judy) writes in her bible! She's always telling me how I should write in mine too. She has notes, and dates, etc in hers. I started highlighting, with colored pencil, the verses that pop out at me, but so far that's it!

Candy, I'm so sorry for the pain you've had in your life in so many areas, physically/emotionally/etc.

I'm inspired by your tenacity in seeking God and serving him despite what life hands you. I like your description when you talk about both physical and emotional pain - so true!

I am completely inspired by Candy's story, especially with the Mother's Day gift I just got (a makeover)! In addition, I think alot of women (myself included) struggle w/anger and it robs us of what God's full potential is for us. I would love to hear her story of healing and forgiveness. I believe that God has different ways to get to each one of us. For some it brings illnesses, for some emotional suffering but the most important thing is to make the decission to le him bring out the best of us. I think that Candy looks just beutiful and that is because Jesus shines through her. I would love to read her story as a testimony of what my God did for her and feel encouraged in my own trials. God bless!

Our church did this same thing. Scripture is written on the concrete -- so we STAND on the word of God every time we step into the building.

What a blessing it is to know this.

God seems to always be telling me to be patient. Not long after I read your blog, I did some googling and found this product on the web. I thought I'd wait until I found it in a local bookstore because the shipping made it a big too expensive. A week later my daughter received them as a birthday gift. We use them almost nightly and they have provided some insightful and fun family conversations. My 3 year old is the one who loves to pick out the evening topic the most. Thanks for a great suggestion.
